Testimonials:

I commissioned Sandra to create a front and back cover for my first novel 'A Blackwater Rising'. She read the book and then identified various images and themes from the story. I picked my favourite and then Sandra worked her magic. I was thrilled with the result. The image on the front cover is not just striking but connects beautifully with the story. It was a joy to work with someone so talented and enthusiastic and yet so straight forward. The book is the first in a trilogy and I will certainly be asking Sandra to create the covers for the next two books. - S Clark Garnett.

I just thought I would drop you a line to say a huge thank you for the painting you recently did of “The Batch” for Lisa and Ian’s wedding. Having now visited the venue myself, I was amazed how the painting captured the location perfectly. Its beauty and calmness came through and I am so pleased that you enabled Paul and I to give such a beautiful, bespoke and unique gift to the bride & groom. I was so excited to receive Lisa and Ian’s comments when they saw the painting for the first time. They said that they were “taken aback and they thought it was beautiful and they absolutely loved it”.I would really recommend one of your paintings to anyone who was thinking of a unique and special gift that the newlyweds can keep forever....a great memory of their wonderful day. Thank you again and I'm sure I will be in touch in the future for a similar request. - Julie Moore.

Sandra did a ‘life drawing’ of my husband and I thought it was wonderful. We were shy, gawky and inexperienced. She was professional, compassionate and talented. The finished painting has captured an intimate pose perfectly. Thank you for capturing a memory. - Rebbca Hennessy.

Having bought two of Sandra's paintings I really love the style and the vivaciousness of her work. Her Bristol scenes give a playful slant to iconic city views and I hope to add more pictures to my collection in the future. - Naomi ej Hearn.

I first saw Sandra's work in Accapella Cafe on Wells Road and fell in love with her paintings. Her style is exceptionally vibrant and pleasing to the eye and she truly captures the essence of "Good Fun Living" in Bristol with the simplicity and charm of her watercolours. I bought my husband a painting of Clifton (from the perspective of Perretts Park) for his 40th after seeing her work, and six months later I saw a further painting of Sandra's (a rainbow over some rooftops) that I couldn't resist so I got this as a late Mother's Day present for myself from myself; yes yes, I invented an excuse to buy the painting but I loved it SO much that I couldn't NOT have it!

Sandra's paintings are beautifully framed and well presented and SO REASONABLY PRICED - I would honestly pay double the amount that she charges.

Having bought the two paintings for my cottage I asked Sandra if she would do a couple of commissions for me to give as presents. My mother lives in the north east of England but loves staying on the Royal York Crescent so Sandra painted the most beautiful watercolour of this scene. My brother in law (from Ireland) proposed to his fiancee on The Tor, Glastonbury, and Sandra did an amazing commission of this for me to give them as an engagement present. Both paintings have been more than well received and both recipients are DELIGHTED that they have a true "One Off" piece of artwork from a Bristol-based artist. Sandra delivered both paintings in good time and I was so grateful that she was happy for me to post her a cheque after I had collected them. She is a very trusting, lovely, and kind-spirited person and I truly believe her character comes across in her artwork; giving it a real extra dimension of joy.

I am currently in discussions with Sandra over a further commission for a neighbour, of the Terrace on which we live in Clutton. This is outside Bristol and so wouldn't be a "usual" piece of work for her to do but she seems keen to have a go which is very exciting! - Sarah Sillars Kane.
